I'M YIDAN!

Hi, I’m Yidan Guo.

With a sincere heart, I capture the souls in all things and embody them in my art. Hope my art resonates with your soul.

Since the age of 15, I received eight years of rigorous training at China Central Academy of Fine Arts - the most prestigious art school in China and earned my Bachelor of Art degree in Chinese Painting. In 2005 I earned a master’s degree in Philosophy from Renmin University of China.

Life is a journey. I have traveled to many places and have been keeping memorable experiences in my art. In 2013, life led me to the United States, and I have lived in the western States ever since.

I have held several solo exhibitions both in China and the United States. My work has been selected for inclusion in many national and international exhibitions and earned a number of awards. My work has been part of many public and private collections.

I am a Signature Member of the National Watercolor Society and a Distinguished Merit Member of the Idaho Watercolor Society.
